The conference is an ideal forum for exchange between scholars, school experts, alumni in the early stages of their teaching career as well as well-seasoned mid-careers. „Career in teaching" provides ample oppurtunity for discussion of tried and tested and innovative concepts thus allowing for deep insights in the working environment in schools.
So that scholars can get an impression of potential occupational fields at an early stage, the Studienstiftung offers assistance in finding suitable work placements. Scholars can apply for work placements at Helmholtz Association research establishments through the Studienstiftung directly. The Studienstiftung can provide contacts to companies offering suitable work placements. Scholars’ reports on their experience are also available; but application is made to the companies directly. On top of this, former scholars offer work placements, diploma dissertations and positions for doctoral candidates in the context of an Intranet forum.
