Application through admission test
Excellent news for students: Having operated through a system of recommendation exclusively since its foundation in 1925, the Studienstiftung additionally established a new admission process on an application basis in 2010. The first step of the new application process is a test, developed exclusively for the Studienstiftung by ITB Consulting GmbH, one of the leading consulting firms in the field of assessment tests which developed the highly successful Standard Assessment Test for students of Medicine.
Every student in the first year of study may apply and take part in the test. The most successful participants will be invited to an admission seminar, 500 places in seminars will be reserved especially for this programme in 2011. Here, the students will have the opportunity to show their academic and personal abilities and aptitudes in interviews. The most important parameters for admission are a strong academic record, a wide range of interest, tolerance and a strong sense of social responsibility.
We especially would like to encourage candidates with a non-academic family background.
