Music
The Studienstiftung offers special sponsorship for outstanding students of music.
After an internal admission process, the rectors of colleges of music in Germany are eligible to nominate their best students for sponsorship. The candidates nominated by the colleges are invited to a special admissions process where they have to pass an audition and an interview by an independent panel of experts. Apart from their artistic gifts, the candidate’s personality plays a vital role in the examination.
Every year, about 100 young musicians are nominated for sponsorship by the Studienstiftung. The admission process takes place once a year hosted by a college of music. [ Details in German ]
