Cooperation between the Studienstiftung and research
The Studienstiftung maintains a host of research contacts. There is cooperation in the field of work placements in research in Germany as well as an academic year abroad in Great Britain and an academic or research year in the USA or France.
In addition, every year at the conference, “A career in science”, major research establishments, such as the institutes in the Helmholtz Association, Leibniz Association, Fraunhofer Society and the Max Planck Society take part and present their work. On this occasion, the major science funding organisations, like the German Research Foundation (DFG), are also represented.
Furthermore, the Studienstiftung’s Daidalosnet gives research establishments, universities and higher education staff the opportunity to advertise work placements, positions for diploma and doctoral candidates as well as continuing advertisements free of charge. [ Details in German ]
