Lecturers
Intensive work in approx. 115 academy groups, 25 Kolleg groups and 3 doctoral forums is the heart of our academic sponsorship. Every year, more than 3,000 scholars make use of the opportunity to work intensively on important research topics in small groups led by eminent, highly-motivated academics.
The variety and, above all, quality of the working groups offered can only be ensured because every year more than 350 leading lecturers are prepared to lead such a seminar. Many of the lecturers know the summer academies from the time when they were scholars themselves. They enthusiastically remember this very special mixture of academically demanding work in the morning sessions and a wide variety of leisure activities in the afternoon.
Today, they travel back to the academy as lecturers, convinced by what they are doing and – despite all the nostalgia – full of enthusiasm for today’s scholars.
